DEPRESSION:
- Persistent sad, anxious, or "empty" mood
- Feelings of hopelessness, pessimism, guilt, worthlessness and
helplessness

schoolwork to sex
- Sleep disturbances (e.g., insomnia or oversleeping)

SCHIZOPHRENIA:
Positive symptoms (things which are added to the
persons usual behavior):
- Hearing voices (the person hears something that is not there)
- Delusions (a highly improbable idea becomes fixed in the
persons mind as a certainty)
- Thought control (person believes their minds are being controlled
from an outside force)
- Thought broadcast (sufferers imagine their thoughts are being spoken
out loud)
- Thought disorders (ideas become loosely associated, disconnected and
flighty; concentration becomes difficult)
- Incoherent talking (speech is "mixed-up" and rambling)
Negative symptoms (something is lost from the person)
- Loss of energy and motivation (no enthusiasm, activity levels are
reduced and self-care is neglected)
- Withdrawal (person avoids social activities and becomes more worried
about internal events and thoughts. Sometimes "hears voices" in his or her
head)
- Emotional changes (emotions are not expressed normally and behavior
is often inappropriate)
- Poverty of speech (amount disclosed is reduced)
ANXIETY:
- Pressure in the chest
- Sweating
- Lightheadedness
- Trembling
- Weakness
- Queasiness/upset stomach
- Difficulty breathing
- Too little/too much sleep
- Agitation
- Excessive nervousness
- Angry outbursts
- Inability to concentrate
- Fearful
- Sudden attacks of intense panic

BIPOLAR DISORDER:
