Tage Haase, M.D., General Surgeon
As Chairman of The Medical Center’s Cancer Committee, I am proud to be part of a program that offers exceptional care for our patients. The Medical Center Cancer Treatment Program is accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons; maintaining this accreditation requires high standards for cancer care, and we make sure we meet or exceed those standards.
There is no doubt prevention and early detection are key components in the battle against cancer. The Medical Center offers a wide variety of screenings and educational opportunities as part of our community outreach efforts. Once there is a diagnosis of cancer, our Cancer Registry offers lifelong patient follow up.
The Medical Center provides the most comprehensive, advanced cancer program in our region. With the latest technology and a multispecialty team approach to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, we strive for the very best in cancer care for our patients. Our mission – to care for people and improve lives in our community – is fulfilled every day by the highly trained physicians and experienced staff at the Cancer Treatment Center.
