We continually hear about the need to take charge of our health. However, in our hectic world it seems more difficult than ever. There just doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day. The Medical Center realizes the need and the problem. For this reason, a unique solution is being offered – The Health and Wellness Center, which is located on the front of Greenwood Mall between Lifeway Book Store and Dillard's (outside entrance only). Now, while you shop, you can also take advantage of a free health education resource center that provides up-to-date information on ways to live a healthier life. Each month the Center features a different FREE health screening such as glucose, depression, hearing and pulmonary function. With these screenings individuals can learn if they are at risk for developing health-related problems. Presentations and programs are provided throughout the week by a variety of healthcare providers. Topics include heart disease, diabetes, men’s and women’s health, senior health, child safety, cancer and many more. Support groups such as diabetes and osteoporosis meet at the Center monthly.

Another exciting part of the Health and Wellness
Center is our Mall Walking Club. For a lifetime fee of $10
you receive a T-shirt and become eligible for discounts within the Mall and incentive
gifts. In addition, a record of your "walking journey" will be kept at the
center so you can watch your progress. Mall walkers are also encouraged to
