The Medical Center is ready to meet the needs of heart
patients 24 hours a day with a talented team of surgeons, cardiologists, nurses, technicians and other health
professionals. Led by Cardiac Surgeons W. Randy Carter, Jr., M.D.
and Paul Moore, M.D., our highly trained staff is
skilled in handling cardiac illness.
Early Detection
The Medical Center offers two non-invasive screenings that can help detect
heart disease early: Cardiac Scoring and the Healthy Heart Profile.
Diagnosis and Treatment
Among our advanced diagnostic services are cardiac catheterization and
electrophysiology (EP) studies. With two board certified surgeons on staff, The Medical Center is the only hospital in Southcentral
Kentucky that can perform all of these surgical procedures.

At The Medical Center, cardiac patients recover faster and return to full
and productive lives through our
Healthy Hearts Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program that combines exercise,

Mended Hearts
Heart patients are invited to participate in regular
meetings of our Mended Hearts
program that brings together those who have had heart procedures or people who are concerned about their cardiac risk factors
and overall wellness. Mended heart meet on the fourth Monday each month at 6:00
