Hand surgery is a specialized field that deals with problems of the hand, wrist and forearm. Problems may include injuries, disease or conditions. These problems can be painful and disabling. When non-surgical treatments are ineffective, surgery may be an option to relieve pain and restore function. The Medical Center provides both elective and emergency hand surgery.
