The Medical Center Babysitting Clinic is a popular one-day class that provides education on responsible babysitting. Boys and girls ages 11 through 17 learn basic tips for caring for children of all ages. Topics include:

• Basic childcare
• First aid
• Cooking Safety
• "Clear the Airway"
• Setting Your Fees
• Marketing Yourself

The fee is $20 and includes lunch, course materials and a T-shirt. Prepayment and registration is required. Register online or complete and mail the application form.

Classes for the general public are scheduled in the summer at The Medical Center Health & Wellness Center located off Cave Mill Road in Chandler Park. Staff from The Medical Center Health & Wellness Center are also available to provide Babysitting Clinics to schools, scouting troops and other adolescent groups throughout the year.
