This patient has Hodgkin’s
Disease (cancer of the lymph system). After 16 sessions of chemotherapy, PET
Scanning revealed a large area of cancer cells within the muscles under the
left shoulder bone. This cancer was not seen without the PET Scan. Treatment
was continued more aggressively.
